Yes, its a CX-5 and I do have the traffic sidebar. It could be coming from 3 months free HD Traffic subscription. I think I activated it in September, but the UK does or used to do something on RDS but I'm not sure what. My old Garmin used to pick it up and it was/is a free service. Is there an easy way to check which I'm using?

Completely o/t, but my display brightness is set to Auto Day and Night but does not seem to go into Night mode. Does yours work?

@jpgblue. I roughly translated your text and read that someone with an NB1 had used danger zones from a carminat and it worked. Perhaps there were more similarities when NB1 was running navcore 9. Your carminat file system looks similar to other navcore 8 and 9 systems I've looked at. My Mazda NB1 running navcore 10.854 (and now confirmed to be the same as NickJH)does not use allot of the files and folders that navcore 8 and 9 does. Just looking at the root (not subfolders), you had 9 additional folders and 11 additional files.

Ok, I think I am screwed lol! Starting to sound like RDSTMC is configured differently in 10.854 then in v8 or 9 that used mcdx.dat and /gns folder. If yours is working without these or other files, I don't know what to do :/

Yes, when my auto sensing headlights turn on - the display and dash dim.

I've just googled around. If the trip meter reset button is completely clockwise it disables the auto-dimming. I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Tell me if your 'SERVICES' menu looks like page 19 (LIVE Services) or page 20 (not LIVE services ie RDS/TMC). Mine looks like page 20.

Mine is like p.19. I wonder if it reverts when my 3-month trial runs out.

Interesting. Yes I read that 'live' services were available in the UK (3 month free trial). This means the traffic data you are currently receiving is via TomTom data services, not the RDS/TMC service. I'd imagine it would switch to TMC when your trial runs out if you choose not to subscribe to LIVE.

Is there anyway anybody can upload latest Australia Map with Speedcams for TomTom Mazda NB1; I tried a few times following the exact method and failed. Thanks in advance...
