Most likely is that you have your map in a sub folder and that's not allowed
Be sure everything is in the root of the SDHC or the internal memory.

Hi. I've a simple question.
If you are already on 10.855 by tomtom navcore installed. Can you still use any patched 'simba' navcore or not?
Can I fool the machine maybe by renaming the patched navcore to a higher number so it will accept and install it over the already installed 10.855?
Thanx.

Just install a patched 10.855 over the stock 10.855. You can even reinstall it or go back to the old one. I reinstalled Simba's then later I patched it to enable TMC and installed it again.

I have successfully updated maps to Australia 1035.9731 (latest) using meta codes of Australia v1035.9669. But my speed limits (always shows 50km/h every road) and gps speedometer only go upto 50km/hr+ only. Is it bcoz of something missing? I added all files from old map folder except those not to be added (of course map is working now)

Did you follow this procedure (Orni method)?
From the Australia_1035_9631 map that you installed on your SD card, you replace the file "Australia-102119.meta" by the file "Australia-102065.meta" (from the Australia_1035_9669 map) without adding any other files.
Activate with your Australia map with your favorite tool, that's all.

I did that. But in the first page it says to move files of your older maps folder, so i did that too. May be why ( my old map was bit older 2016 971.xxxx - my mazda is 2015 model and upto that version was i think free update was there). So if i delete the files from older maps will it work or do i need to redo all again?

To avoid going in circles, delete the Australian map folder and start over from the beginning following the procedure I indicated.
This works for everyone who has followed this procedure.

2015 and no NB1 live device yet? Very strange...
Why i ask this? A NB1-live device can't be updated by this method.
That's only needed if you must use a High-Level-map instead a NB1-Map on a non-live-NB1 device (If code for NB1 or NAV3 map not available).
Australia_1035_9631 is an origin NB1-map.Last edited by Alfred_ML; 19th September 2019 at 03:03 PM.

Alfred - 2015 mazda (CX9) is the last model here before they switched the infotainment system to different - 2016 CX9 is a new model which includes engine (sky active) and design changes. So 2016 CX-9 onward they used . I can't recall how long they promised free updates for map. I updated myself couple of times using TTHome (genuine updates). Then I left it for a while as where I was living and going etc has been a established places and map was enough. Now I moved to new home and suburb where no streets are even showing up. Then I thought of updating and last free one is 971.xxxx from 2016. So i searched for hacked maps and ended up here...
General current/recent map & meta...
Thanks Biggerdave. RunMeForCode is very...
