Good question. Using my 7000 serial number it says no problem but of course that is a truck model running 9.702 navcore. But if you input your 550 serial it will prompt you to update your navcore to the 9.541 rather than a newer truck navcore BUT as my 7000 is not suggesting a new truck navcore I think it will be OK but just can't say for sure! There's certainly nothing showing on the TT forum about needing a new navcore for truck devices (yet)
