A quick start with TomTom QuickGPSfix™
Your TomTom device uses the signals of at least 4 satellites to find out where you are. To start navigating, it needs to know exactly where each satellite is.

Instructions:
1.Plug TomTom into USB and run QuickGPSfix_Update.exe
2.You can run this tool directly from the desktop or TomTom device.

biggerdave I have acquired a GO750 live which works just fine but when I check the epherm folder saw that it has the SiRFstar files in it and when I checked the boot screen the GPS type is a GL2 BCM4750 which I think is GlobalLocate although satnav works as is would it work better if I put the correct GPS files for GlobalLocate...thanks in advance
