Navcore for XL (30 Series) / 330 - 1GB
Hi.
Can anyone recommend the newest and best navcore for my XL (30 Series) / 330 - 1GB (32 MB ram) device? The original navcore is 8.014. I have patched this navcore and using the new 880 maps with great success :-)
I have read a lot about all the different cores (modifications etc.) but I have never managed to find a working navcore :-( I have tried "Navcore for the lazy" but none of those I tried seemed to work.
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Which version of the bootloader?

Hi.
From bootloaderversion.txt on the device I get the following information:
BootloaderTarget=s3c24xx
Bootloaderversion=5.5019
I must admit I haven't read much about bootloaders.

Forget what you read that newer is better...it ain't!
If you STILL want to play then first do a full Windows backup
PS changing bootloaders can be VERY dangerous to newbies and there's NO advantage whatsoever for your device.

Hi.
I can't update anything using TomTom Home (according to the link) to get the latest official/current version. I don't know why? Maybe because 8.014 is the latest version for my XL?
I just thought that with a newer navcore I could get some of the new features (like lane-assist). But your right, it ain't broke (it seems to work perfect with the new maps from this site) so maybe I should forget to update the navcore also.
