Nearly. I use my NC 9.5 (Rider 2013) on my One 2nd. On motorbike BT for the headset is essential. ANY voice seems to break the gpspipe. All satellites got lost.

What if u try to start the converter from the menu after sats got lost?
Sounds like it could be memory related. The ONE only has 32 MB ram?
Oh, and which version of my patch are you using? V3 or v4?

Just tried this fix on a TT One V3 and a TT One XL V1 both with GL1 chipsets and they found satellites and set the time within 2 minutes and 30 mins later the time is still correct.
Needs a long test but looking good so far and thank you for all the hard work .

    So, I am attaching now the universal workaround/fix v8 for devices with "gpstype" = "65" (Rider 2013), and "128" & "129" (GL1).

(I didn't see before that you can attach files here).

Explanation of all the menu points is in the readme. Haven't figured out why this won't work on 9.541 (though one user reported it was working on 9.541 - I suspect it has to do with ramdisk, but I don't know!).

Hm yeah...I think my solution is not yet ideal, because it is using 2 pipes. Actually the fifos shouldn't take more ram than what they hold, which should only be a few bytes at a time...I'm using the LD_PRELOAD technique now. Maybe it would be better to directly catch the write-operations from there instead of diverting the fifo filename. I think I wouldn't have to change too much of my code to make that work...probably could be a cleaner method in general also for AR1520...

Well, and there is a small memory leak, but it appears to be only around 2 KB per hour, so this shouldn't really have any effect. Is your ram getting so low that it crashes again after a while? (I do see ram usage fluctuating also on my Rider).

Btw.: this is actually all the code that is necessary to divert the output of gltt (if gltt would use fopen it would even be shorter):

code looks simple. Tnx for providing this.
I need TT this weekend (starting tour tomorrow).
So I stop any advantures until monday.

My One starts with nearly 6 MB RAM available (according to info screen) decreasing to 4.5 after maybe 2 hours. It depends.
If there are less than 4MB available GPS got lost.

I have to hard reset the TT.

Btw. someone at the german TT forum asked for the source code of gltt.
Maybe they provide it on GitHub or on their GPL-page.

Highly doubt they will release the source. Problem is, all gltt devices are so freakin' old, I doubt even more they'll provide a fix. But who knows...
