GO 730 Map activation problems [US South West]
Tomtom GO 730
Fastactivate updated to latest version via interface (25/03/2018).
Australia map 100050 installed and activated, works properly.
(Australia-101439.meta => .dct OK)
New maps downloaded (multiple times from different sources) and copied to 730, Meta patched, when activated I get a .dct error
Maps (allegedly) have meta file included with the download:
error : Incomplete Map(s): US_South_West_101485.meta => .dct ERROR
USA South_West_8826 map

similar error to above
What am I doing wrong?
I'm going on a road trip to California and Nevada, hence the map that I chose, if someone can suggest an alternate map to try (i.e. the whole US), I'll give it a go.

The only meta codes we have are the ones where some generous person has bought the map from TT and donated their meta code (serial number) to the community.
If you open FastActivate and select option 1 to update the meta, you'll get an 'Updated_meta.txt' file...contained in that file is ALL of the meta's we have collected to date.
If the meta code for the map you're interested in is not there, you have two options:
1. Buy the map from TT and donate the meta to the community yourself
2. Look at the meta's we've already got to find the next best alternative
There is no meta code hidden in the map and there is no point in keep asking for something we obviously don't have.

Thanks for the replies.
I obviously misunderstood what I was downloading.
I'll try to a map with a meta.
