Any risks using Live Services?
Grateful for advice. Are there any problems having a Live subscription when using patched Navcore, patched map and patched Home? I have searched forums but found no information on this. That makes me think it should be ok but thought I would ask.
On the same theme, is the Live subscription just for one map or the device as a whole? In other words if I swop maps, do I lose the Live benefits?
Sorry if this is a naive question. I have lots of experience with TT Ones but only recently got a Go Live

No, no risks whatsoever. The Live subscription is for all/any map within that Live area (like Europe) etc

Thanks. Can I ask a bit more advice on something I have never been sure about? Is there any risk logging in using your registered email etc and getting poi's voices etc when using Home and patched device/map. I assume it should be ok but tend to use Home only to save Mapsettings.cfg to each new map.
That's it. Promise no more questions!

I think that if you mean "jail" as a risk.......don't worry, no risks
Be sure to unflag software updates....so your navcore will be untouched by mom TT

More a wonder whether patched maps/devices could be detected and email registration blacklisted

I always bought TT Ones with SD slots and don't get maps from TT. Now running BMWman's 951 Navcore (for 32mb) and using advanced maps. Surprised it works well even using Europe. Just an occasional delay when selecting navigate to city centre. I assume that is because there is a lot of data to sort?

With 32 mb it's easy to get a bit of time to calculate/elaborate routes.
If you dno't need all the countries in Europe ,U can try with a partial map (e.g. western Europe.....?)
