Same map, same number, same feature but ...different name and size ?
Dear all, within the recent release of Map 960 there are different maps that actually seem to be the same although they have a different name.
For instance, when I check "Europe_West_960_7056" and "Western_Europe_960_7056" I see no difference but the name and the size (delta around 500mb).
The same happens with "Europe_Central" and "Central_Europe".
So, can anyone tell me the difference among those maps ?
I don't know which one is the one to download....

It's all about the coverage of these maps.

According to the picture, it seems the both share the same area/coverage.
Also on TomTom website I didn't find anything, nor in this forum

According to the Europe_West_960_7056 is 1507.3mb and the Western_Europe_960_7056 is 2063.2mb
PS normally a "Europe_North/Europe_South" etc is a zoned portion of a larger Europe map cut down to fit a particular device/memory whereas a Western_Europe or Eastern_Europe are standalone maps

Europe_West looks like this:
whereas Western_Europe looks like this:
So you can see that the Europe_West map doesn't include Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany & Denmark
