Whats the Correct mode to install new map on external card?
Hi, the correct mode to update a map on sd card is to copy all the files from internal memory to sd card and then put map folder there or put on sd card only the map folder without the files from internal memory? Thanks

There is no such thing as correct .
Best and recommended is , navcore on internal , map(s) on sd-card .
Works not on all models , but if it does , that is the best way .
If you want both navcore and map on sd-card , then make sure that internal is empty .

Any device BEFORE the x20/x30's must have navcore AND map folder together, either internally or on SD card. Only the latest devices can run navcore from internal & map(s) from internal OR from SD card

The gps its Go720
Ok, since the new map dont fit on internal memory, i will copy the internal memory files to sd card and then delete all files in internal memory (And of course add map folder to sd card also). Correct? Thanks
Is there a problem on have all the files on internal memory without any map and have all the files with the maps on sd card? Thanks

I've got a Go 940 Live and the way I've done it is to leave all of the official stuff (NC & map etc) on the internal drive and the unofficial/patched NC and maps go onto the card.
The device defaults to the card anyway, if there's one in there, so I don't get any problems at all.

If you keep different versions of software on the SD card and the internal memory, it can sometimes cause undesired operation of the device.
Yes and what's the point?
The best option to have the software in the internal memory and the map on the SD-card.
