At the base of the Go710 where it connects to the window mount there is a rubber grommet thing. Mine has come out and is lost. With it being missing there is no longer a good power connection and the device loses charge (AFAIK this is a known problem). If anyone knows where to get a new rubber grommet I would be grateful but TT doesn't appear to have any
brodev Reviewed by brodev on . Broken x10. Latest model that can be patched? My TT Go710 is coming to an end due to a missing rubber grommet. I cannot complain as I have had sterling use from it. As I am an avid fan of this site me question is. What is the latest/best model of TomTom that the maps can "patched"? Rating: 5

Got to be cheaper to get a bust unit off ebay surely (510/710/910) which would even get you some other spare parts

I can't see any rubber grommet , or any rubber thing at the base of my 710

The row of pins you see are your contacts and the always rest on the mount .
I dont think there belongs any rubber in that area .

    Perhaps try some contact-spray or WD40 .
