It's been a while since tinkering with maps.. So some help appreciated.

I am trying to update a Go 910, I have United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_937_5916 and I am having problems understanding this comment..

(Activation without meta : those meta coloured in green aren't designated for the corresponding map but allow to activate them. Just replace the country-xxx.meta file in the map directory (delete the original country-xxx.meta file) with the country-xxx.meta file from the map for which the meta was initially intended. Then run the activate process.)

This could be the reason I am having problems.. Please Help...

What version of software you have installed?
Why everyone is trying to go the most inconvenient way?
The simplest way is to install the 9th version of the software and to use the latest and the best map.

you can use any map (910 works perfectly and reliably)

The reason I downloaded the above software and maps are, there free without having to register to File Factory etc.

Did not understand. In General on the forum all information free. And nobody offers to buy anything. (for those who want to pay money there TomTom home)

What I mean is registering with a file sharing site..Like File Factory..

So where is the Meta for this map United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-100171.meta

This is the map I have installed And meta with it causes a .dct error??
