please if someone had experience with older TomTom Carminat, NC 7.842, and patching it to work with latest maps. Situation is next, in car was originally NC 7.842, older one for TomTom Carminat, so tried to load newer NC like 8.842, with making sd card from scratch, from original NC .cab 8.842, patched NC, renamed original file -tsystem to ttsystem after patching, extracted ttgo.bif from original sd card and folder loopdi, from file ext3_loopback, activated maps like usually with original ttgo.bif, where is located device id, serial, etc. , .dct files for activation maps created, so everthing looked ok.

Until car is turned off, inserted prepared sd card with NC 8.842, SW started load, and then appeared window where to select map i want use, tried select one of maps i loaded, but there was message "can't use these maps on this device", i know this message usually appears if map version isn't compatible for appropriate NC, but in this case i used this map,

Western_Europe_1GB_935_5745

which is compatible with all NCs from 7.xx to 10.xxx, so suppose, maps aren't problem, another case when this message appears, if not .dct created, but in this case was created with original ttgo.bif 100%!

So, don't know where to look for what cause this problem!

Tried with original 7.842 NC from 7.841 .cab, prepared sd card from scratch, NC patched, maps activated by Fastactivate, but still same problem, with message "these maps, can't be used on this device"!

Don't know what else to try, if someone has some experience with this problem, or idea what can cause this problem, and what to try, to solve it, please post?

Maybe to try "reset" of TT Carminat, but turnin off car, opening door, that display turn off, removing sd , then turning on car, waiting to see message "maps not found", then turning off, opening door, and then to insert new sd created on scratch?
