Why Poshea should seek it for you? He don't need this map, but you . A little more own efforts not wrong...

Have a question maybe someone can answer.

I updated my SD card last year using the instructions in this thread. I don't remember which version I put on though.

I noticed today that new maps for Canada/US are available. I saw maps v985.8156 and v985.8208. The compatibility chart shows both are working on Android but v985.8208 is missing CSpeech and ASR which I understand our GPS supports. Should I use v985.8156 then since the chart shows it supports all features?

Out of curiosity how do you know you have to mix maps and which one to activate? By the compatibility chart for Australia I can see 8155 / 8156 / 8157 / 8197 tick all 4 boxes..

    1) How did you know Australia has 8197 as the collection page only showed 8155-8157?
    2) How did you know that you need additional file from 8197 instead of say 8155/8156?
    3) How did you know you had to add extra files from 8197 and activate 8157 and not the other way around?
    4) How did you know 8197 is the Mazda map? any website?

Just trying to learn for future...

Sorry, only you can everytime use the info-screen of your device (used NC and used map). Nobody here has a magic sphere

    To booth (#424 & #425):

It's nice to know, which map-numbers tick all 4 Boxes. But nicer is to know, that the 985_8155 are only for Europe-maps, the 985_8156 only for Northern-America-maps and the 985_8157 for the rest of the world like OZ, Africa and Southern-America. So only one (1) usable - High-Level, not Android! - Australia_985_8157 exist. These findings were made a few weeks ago (mostly moved to trash now ), but some of these info are now incorporated here:

or for the Mazda-NB1 here (at the end):

I can only say it again: use the forum search and you will find all of your needed info.

    Hi all,
Just bought myself a Mazda6. I have upgraded my SD card to a faster and larger one. I have used TomTom Home2 and upgraded my software on the car. How do I go about getting the latest map (Europe) 985.8197? When I go to page with the map, it contains loads of .rar files which looks like have to be downloaded individually. Also where would I find the lasted patched software 10.855 i think?

If the Mazda6 uses the NB1, then I pulled the instructions together further back in the thread

    .

Since then there have been a couple of developments. Firstly there is a later Navcore on a post somewhere between the one I linked to and here. You should use that one. Secondly, if you can locate a Mazda specific map, which it looks like you have, then you don't have to delete the arp_*.dat.

    Hello everyone,
first big thanks to people willing to put their own time for free to help others.
I've read whole thread and lets say i understand what i need to do to update my map tho i still have some question marks over my head.
Car is Mazda 6 with NB1 navigation system, i did update via tomtom home, software is 10.855 and map is 930.xxxx Europe.
I would like to update to map 985.8197 Europe as i understand this is genuine map for Mazda software and there is no need to do complicated steps you need to do with lets say Europe 985.8155.
Now, i have 2 questions, first is do i need to patch my navcore with simba patched 10.855 version?
And second is could anyone share link in PM to download this 985.8197 Europe map as link in Maps section is like imposible to dl if u dont have account of service provider.
    Thanks in advance!!!
