I have a general question about tom-tom maps.
Does anyone know how to check if a map has ALG (Automatic Lane guidance) ?

Id it possible to look at the data in the map files on the disc and find out or do you have to go the long route of suck it and see ?

There are no special files in your map that indicates that this map has ALG. If your map has files like citymap.dat, it is a nc 9 map. All nc 8 and 9 map have ALG
But you can always check the name and version of the map.
Open the *.pna file. You can use notepad to do so.
For example the benelux 920.5270 pna file:

ID=Benelux.pna
843155919
920
build=5270
id=1377979

Then check the list here on the forum for the specifications of the map and if there is a meta availeble.
Most of the availeble maps with meta are maps with ALG.
Not many people have an old device and a subscription for new maps every 4 month. So the maps for navigator or navcore 7.9 without ALG become very rare.
