TomTom server problems
Tomtom appears to be having a server problem and is not downloading any data regards quickgpsfix so don't do as I did and delete everything and expect tthome to update.

only when you dont use the device regularly
i use it every day , but i never use quick-fix , i dont even have Home installed
never had an issue
quick-fix is nothing more then a data-base
it contains the position of satellites for next 7 days , so that the device finds them quicker
if you boot the device at the same place where you 'd shut it down , it should find satellites easily
using old outdated quick-fix files can make it worse instead of better
so ; use either a new one from Home or not at all , a back-upped quick-fix makes no sense

We have indeed had some overload issues on our servers over the weekend. The issues have been resolved now.
Should you still not be able to update QuickGPSFix, please do the following:
- In TomTom HOME go to Manage my device
- Choose QuickGPSFix and remove it from the device
- Go again to Manage my device and now to Remove items from computer
- Choose QuickGPSFix to be removed
- Search for updates and update QuickGPSFix.

But it is nothing more than the standard procedure, we do manually without using TTHome, when there are problems ....
