This app seems to be a simplified version of the regular TomTom Go mobile -app. Probably aimed at markets (countries) with limited internet bandwith.
A huge advantage is that the map of countries can be downloaded seperately. So no more downloading parts of Europe if you only need Netherlands and Germany, therefore saving MB's while downloading and storage space on your device or SD-card.
Map and app layout appear to be limited. That is an aspect I don't like. Another aspect I'm not thrilled about is the view on the map. Too much zoomed out. There I like the regular TomTom app more.
So far, just tested it for a short time during a short drive, it works well and appears to be free at the time. No limitations of 75 km/ month so far, although TomTom will most likely introduce some sort of subscribtion soon.

@rusigor, I looked and had the same problem, although I have licenced GO Mobile anyway. Used to be called Navigator but changed name and extended subscripton. Used to be free for some miles of usage, but then pay for longer journys. when i redownloaded it was the same. 57 miles free. So logged into account and was free up to 2021. since i roam, or rather did, I use GO5200 so free and no data charges. In host country I do not think mush charge, but I am tight with data usage.
We spent quite some time looking for the maps with little success. can see them if you have on SDCard and look on pc, but it is really of no point as show several files of same size and one ending in .rar. that does not help much. could load a map at a time and check the new file number. But really is a time waiter and really of no importanceOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

In a hidden Folder in Folder data/data
i only see it in Device with the "Root Explorer App"
they are many splitted Files with Numbers, not Country Names
same like in Bridge Devices

Yes, interesting. I wonder if they will move existing GO Mobile users over to this app. Used to be Navigator and moved to GO Mobile, I wonder if move back again. So far nothing here. still the same map version numbers, but I too like the individual country maps too, better for when not roamingOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. @Schwan Have you noticed if you swap maps and look again, the one with .rar at the end changes time, the the other folders do not? It used to be the case. I do not think of any help, but it may hold the current info, whereas the others are static filesOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime.
