    in order to see the maps in my laptop ,I was using an older version of basecamp,I don’t have noticed wihich one.

    _also in a usb stick a folder with the name garmin and inside varius unlocked maps in imgs format of garmin _program asked to up date to version 4.7.0 I did it but after that I cannot see the new City Navigator Europe NTU 2019.10 ,I went back to version 4.6.2 but with no result. All others previus maps,are seeing exept ntu…

    Any help ????

    Download Basecamp from Garmin, (the link posted by Genius3), install, do not open.
    Download the patch, it is the patched Basecamp exe file.
    Find the Basecamp installation file on your PC. Replace the original exe file by the patched one and Basecamp will not ask for unlock codes etc. at startup.

    The main reason to not update to 4.7 is that in "view" the link to Google Earth is missing.....

    That's the reason why I uninstalled 4.7 and reinstalled previous 4.6.2

    Ok, so with the Garmin folder copied to the SD card, Bascamp identifies it as a Nuvi2597 along with the UnitID but then I see this "No unlockable maps were found for the device"

    The status for the 2020.30 NTU Europe under Manage Maps is not lockable. What am i missing?
    Do I need to generate an unlock code for that unit ID (Nuvi 2597) using JMKG and if yes, what location does it need to go

    Ok, got it working. After the System folder is copied to an external drive (SD card / USB), the gmap folder has to be moved to the maps folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\Maps. I am using Basecamp 4.6.2 so know it works
