TOPO Australia & New Zealand v5

Many thanks for Topo Australia NZ V6 lite, but it took a day and a half to download. AnonFile is a nightmare. The rar file takes over three hours to download but the site keeps timing out before completion, then it's back to square one. After a dozen goes I finally downloaded it with DAP download manager (only 50 minutes), but Winrar said the file was corrupt. Eventually downloaded another complete file, but Winrar still wouldn't unpack it, though this time 7-zip worked. Go figure.

I use topo maps for hiking so routing is not a big issue for me, but v6 lite only has hard-to-read 40m contours not 10m like the full version. Not sure it's worth upgrading to v6 lite from v5 full. Changes in v6 are mostly cosmetic with some clearer trails, a few more mountains and tree shading, otherwise little has changed, at least in Victoria where I live. One exception is the Great Ocean Walk, which is vastly improved (if still not 100%).

I fully agree,5 Full is better than 6 lite. Garmin is now shipping some units with TopoActive 30m contours intervals
I guess having to use a VPN made the download problematic,The corrupt error you are getting is normally fixed by updating your WinRar version to the latest
