The Universal Patcher is not what you need and accordingly this is quite off-topic here.

Probably your 1310 is soft-bricked by a corrupt file that cannot be loaded during the boot-cycle and so the boot is stalled. You need to re-enable Mass Storage mode using cure firmware, remove the faulty file/s if known or re-format the internal memory as a last resort. Search for "CarminCure3' or 'QuickCure' to save having to custom make a cure firmware yourself. Finally after removing faulty files/formatting load the original firmware.

Hi,

I am having problems patching my DriveSmart 61

1. I have the:
Model>
<PartNumber>006-B2587-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>670</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin Drive 61</Description>
2. I downloaded DriveSmart 61 (2588) fw6.70.rar
3. I unrared the file and copied the garmin directory to the root of my sd card
4. I press a long press on the button on the back of the device, until I see: "turn off the device?"
I press "off"
5. I insert the SD card into the device

When I reboot the device by pressing the button on its back, it boots regularly and does not show the "Loader"

What am I missing?
