    Default Gpsmap 67/67i patchable?

    Garmin has released Gpsmap 67/67i.
    Does anyone have already any experience if the firmware of these devices are patchable, or do they fall into the category like Montana 7X0 (Encrypted Firmware)?

    Without the firmware or the HWID to enable us to download the firmware there is no way to tell, but most probably encrypted too. "This is the Way"
    Edit: GE does not update FW to Initial Production Release 4.40 not surprising as it is only 5 days since the launch.

    According to gpsrchive the Firmware (B4336) is v 4.40 (not to be found yet). HWID will be 4336 then.

    From what I've read it may not be patchable, it seems you can't even read what's in the GPS folder, connecting it to a computer, maybe that it's like the Montana 700.

    Please do not create a new thread when this one exists already.
    Just search this thread with your HWID to see if there is a patch.

    Unfortunately it looks like Drive, DriveSmart 52,55,65,66,76,86, zumo XT ,Alpha 200i, Montana 700 are all in the same category.
    No solution as the Universal Firmware Patcher does not recognise the new format.
