Drivesmart 51 patching
Hi,
I'm struggling with patching a drivesmart 51.
I have downloaded the IMG Checks Patcher v 2.1
I cant find GUPDATE.GCD or FW_ALL.BIN on the garmin drive anywhere. Yes, I am viewing hidden files and folders.
I was hoping I could get thru this without asking for help.
Here's the current info on the device:

<SoftwareVersion>670</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin DriveSmart 51</Description>

I found the required files by searching. That search button is amazing :-)
The display is showing 'LOADER'. Im not sure how long it takes.

Hi! How could I use maps uploaded from net in my Garmin Nuvi 2599? It is
1758 version. I had to return files from backups, and the device is now
protected. It does not read gmapsupp.img with South Africa maps.
The link which should include a package which removes the protection is
not working.
