TTS NZ English and TTS Hindi?
Happy new year guys!
Does anyone have a TTS voices collection? Very very few options out there and I have found out that I do really like my street names read out loud. I'm after NZ English, both male and female, and a TTS Hindi if that is at all out there.
Thanks in advance, guys :-)happened Reviewed by happened on . TTS NZ English and TTS Hindi? Happy new year guys! Does anyone have a TTS voices collection? Oh well, it appears that this was harder than I thought.
1. My GO 950 has LoquendoTTS and not VocalizerTTS. So the TTS voices that pe1agp helped me with did not work.
2. The standard voices (non-TTS) are also not working because the GO 950 apparently needs a .tlv file and the voices I downloaded (and which worked with my XL flawlessly) do not work on my GO 950.
Help, please? Thanks guys :-)You're beautiful. Yes - you reading this! :-)

1. As far as I know there are no TTS voices available for NZ and Hindi
2. Try removing the DCT files from within your voices directory and try them again...I'm sure I've said this before?

I was wondering if it was only me thinking along those lines.
As far as I am aware if Loquendo works so does Vocalizer.
I was told you shouldn't have both installed together
You might not have a working version
Four years ago pe1agp sent me the Vocalizer voice Xander.
It didn't work "out of the box" because I received two copies Xander merged together.
It was all double Dutch to me.
I could let you have a working copy of Serena so as you can check if Vocalizer does work for you and then you could compare files.
If indeed you do need the .tlv files maybe you could say which.
Maybe somebody has them.
I've got a few.

Thanks a bunch, TomTom13E. Could you help me with an entire VocalizerTTS folder - the installation itself along with a working file? Pe1agp has already, very kindly, shared with me his folders and I just dont think I know how to 'install' VocalizerTTS. Also, I think I will just need to delete the LoquendoTTS folder first? Of course, after backing it up, first.
About the .tlv, I am after Al Pacino :-)
Thanks again :-)You're beautiful. Yes - you reading this! :-)

1. See private message.
2. In view of the Maverick's comments it might be that your voice is a third party build that the 950 doesn't like if it contains errors or omissions.
I could try rebuilding it for you as long it isn't a premium voice. (Doesn't need a dct file).

It is not a voice-specific issue in my opinion. I tried 3 English voices from pe1agp's VocalizerTTS folder to no avail. I will try a complete replacement of the TTS folder and report back results. Thanks a bunch for your help :-)You're beautiful. Yes - you reading this! :-)
