New user and TOMTOM GPS
Hi Everyone.
I have received TOMTOM GPS but with maps from 2012.
I do not know the model so I would like some help about my model (where to check it, how to propelry identify it) and also links how to install maps to it.
It says:
- TOMTOM GO 4CR52 (4CR5.002.02)
- Serial: ST3492K02041 (0) (7.7)
below this it says Z1230
- Application : 12.040.1032279.74 (0) (2026, 9-8-2012) OS 981015
- Map: Europe v895.4441
Any help is welcome.
Thank you in advance.janeku Reviewed by janeku on . New user and TOMTOM GPS Hi Everyone. I have received TOMTOM GPS but with maps from 2012. I did reply you PM already, but also the answer here.
So, the device with a serial number that starts wit ST is a "Go LIVE 1005" nav3 device
It has no SD-card slot and has 8Gb of internal memory
You must connect with MyDriveConnect for updates.
You could have found this with my tool in the next thread:
Maybe you still can get free map updates from tomtom.
Try it before you start with the patch procedures Orni advised you.

Yes you are correct. It has Micro Card slot (I wanted to make a note to this but you were faster).
I have only one problem.
When I connect to USB cable it charges GPS but it is not recognised by TT software ???
Is it faulty cable, just for charging cable or faulty GPS connectors ?
How can I check this ?

@Orni, when you got one, I believe you.
But I did get some photo's from janeku by PM and I did not see the card slot.
And than there is also a error in my device list tool.
So, I will update that.
thanks

It does not have a standard usb connection, it connects through the connector that I indicate:
It is not a device that I would recommend, it has a smaller screen than the Start 20/25 or the Via 130/135, so it has the application 12.040.1032279.74
