STOP PRESS! If as I now realise/suspect, your XXL doesn't have an SD card slot then it's not really viable as even the Europe Truck map itself runs to nearly 4Gb so you'd need to solder an 8Gb MicroSD card internally, see PLUS, if you're wanting the US Truck map, that cannot be done as that's only available for the newer NAV3/4 devices

I am quite ok with tomtom car navigation update, but now I should install truck maps on a XXL. Does this model support truck mode? Could you please tell me which navcore to use etc? Thx, but I need only Germany, or west Europe region. That should fit the XXL.
