navcore Truck and Camper compatible?
Hi,
I did install navcore 9701 on a GO910 with a map of Europe camper version 1055. It works but I still have to check if it really behaves like a camperapplication.
Also I did not have vocal information on my Tomtom, I only hear the voice if I click on the bottom left. Road information is not popping up automaticaly like it should.
So, my question, has anyone experience with this kind of installation and if yes, what can you give me as tip to make it work completely.
thanks

I think someone who knows more than me will say you need a NAV3 device & navcore to run a NAV3-specific map like the camping one.
If confirmed, all you could do is use the 9.702 navcore with the latest NAV2 truck map and change vehicle profile as close as you can get & add camper POI's etc?

yes, I dropped the POI in to the camper map and this is working. only the speech doesn't. Dropped a voices map with all voices in the camper map too. Do I need to add something in the Loquendo? Gonna try with a nav2 map and see what happens. Is a 9702 navcore mandatory or is a 9701 ok too?

You may test both and use which you like most.
Not all navcore's have a icon to change direct you vehicle, I thought setting via DSA to X40 wil how that icon
Loquendo is a pat of the navcore, it contain several languages
Mind your mailbox, please.

9.701 or the slightly later 9.702 are needed for the Nav2 truck map, very little difference really. Voice folders/files don't go inside the map folder, just in the root of the device/SD card etc
