TomTom for truck won't work anymore..

I don't know when you picked up that Fastactivate, but this morning my server had a failure and the last Fastactivate was unavailable for several hours.

Managed to install everything with '9.702.go_work-CAB-navcore-GO-WORK' and 'Europe_TRUCK_1050_10209' but it won't work anymore. Strange but my tomtom go530 won't start anymore. Like I was charging with a power bank and it's just blank screen. Then I left over night to discharge and with a fresh start I managed to hear drums and see tomtom 'truck logo'. Then after that nothing happened, again blank screen. Can't even reset. What could be the issue and how to fix this if any ideas? Rating: 5

managed to use the newest fastactive and it worked. It's a bit laggy the device it self but it works...

Hello, it is very important that the meta.txt file of your activator is up to date and includes the meta of the map you want to activate. I would use TTActivator, with it you download active maps, maps and much more ... The latest maps are version 1055.

what do you suggest guys? it was working fine, but now tomtom it's restarting. What navcore for the truck would you suggest so it works without issues ? I have followed installation tutorial for the new nav core installation and maps..

For sure a 64MB navcore.

what do you mean exactly? I will try to reinstall card in the morning again. downgrade to lower navcore or so.

tried also TTActivator-v1.15 no luck, still restarts.

I will go and buy a new sd card to see if that solves the problem.

Managed to install 9.701 and it works fine so far. Would really 9.702 makes device slower, maybe that's what causes the 'restart problem' ?


Neverthless I don't see a big difference between 701 and 702 navcores.. please correct me if I am wrong.

I will try soon to install the 702 navcore into a new SD card.

I think you should now have enough information through this forum and possibly many others to install your navigation to your satisfaction.

Did you read about my problem above? I have explained everything in details and posted here so in case someone has the same issue. I didn't find anything who had the same problem related to restart.

I realized that after adding 'speed cameras' it becomes sluggish and restarts in the loop.
