    We now have a solution for Rider 1, Rider 2, and One 3rd (there is one model with SiRF3) as well. Wait for @Charlie62 to update the package!
    treysis Reviewed by treysis on . Consequences of WNRO for GO x20, x30, 7000, x40, x50 and 9000 using a Navcore Truck 9.702 and known solutions TomTom has released for all these models an update of the last navcore in force before April 6, 2019. The version has increased from 9.510 to 9.541, to correct the bug of WNRO. On the other hand, no update of the navcore Truck 9.702 has been proposed by TomTom, so that the problems of the GPS using this navcore have not been solved. But fortunately, the saying "there are no problems, only solutions" is confirmed once more. Let's see what solutions have been found: A) The clock problem. Rating: 5

    Good morning

    I have performed the steps to change the firmware and it has been a success, everything has worked correctly.

    Now I would like to know if there is any way or system to see if the new firmware 3.2.5 has been installed in my gps go930

    Thanks and regards.

    In the "ttgo.bif" file, you should have the following line:

    GPSFirmwareVersion = GSW3.2.5TT3-CRC32_3.3.01.06-C34P3.00

    instead of :

    GPSFirmwareVersion = GSW3.2.4TT_3.1.00.12-C35B1.02

    HI
    I've got a Go720 that i just updated the navcore to 9510 . I then came across this thread so thought great I'll try the Ultimate Solution.

    Downloaded files, unpacked etc following instructions but when i start the gps it just says " the flashing process is starting.." and thats it. I've tried both versions but same result

    What am I missing ??

    Cheers

    "I have tried both versions, but the same result" allows much speculation about your proceeding...
    If you have tried Flash_FW_3.2.5 (or Flash_FW_3.6.0), your Go720 should not have any problems with finding satellites after starting from standby. If you have tried Flash_FW_3.2.4, you have the old trouble...
    What's your problem now?

    Sorry, I probably didnt make myself clear

    I am trying to flash to version 3.2.5 ( or 6 even ) from 3.2.4. I follow the instructions to remove the existing files from internal memory, move the flashing files there then start the gps. It starts, gets to the screen saying " the flashing process is starting.." and thats all that happens.

    At this stage I'm guessing its only for the SiRFStarIII chip not the SirfIII in the 720 despite what its says in the post

    I've tried the german site but i'm struggling with the tranlation at this stage

    Of course I could still be barking up the wrong tree so any assistance would be appreciated

    Cheers

    Update: Success!! just had to put the flash files on an sd card as suggested & all goes smoothly. Once i get the maps upgraded & working i'll be a happy camper
