Have you compared the files in your NC with the files in original untouched version ? ( usually there are changes made (written to the drive) after connection is made .
You can do that by right-click them and select properties
You can have both property-windows open simultaneously so you can compare them side by side

I think if anyone has the time/inclination to do this it's probably only the two different .cab contents that need comparing; yes?
If I'm wrong then we need an anorak with plenty of time on their hands to do a full navcore comparison.

New Truck Navcore 9.702
Hi all,
I've just seen recently that TT has released a new Navcore 9.702 for truck users.
Hopefully it's not riddled with errors like 9.700 and 9.701 (read about but not experienced).
BUT it all seems much the same except for a new folder in the root 'usr' USER?
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Replies much appreciated. Thank You.

There is nothing wrong with 9.701 or 9.702
Only noticeable different between the two is that you cannot use LIVE on 9.702
Errors in maps or routes have always been present , and probably always will be too .

Dont agree
>>only the fact that it ignores truck-restrictions on a handful of streets is introduced in 9.xxx navcore
Errors in maps or routes have always been present
Driving a truck while using original 6.xxx navcore , THAT was fun ................

My idea ;
9.702 is fine
Only problem is the lack of LIVE and a quick battery-drain while idling ( automatically switch off screen when powerloss is enabled by default , not for nothing )
those who need LIVE must use 9.701

Maybe, just maybe, these routing problems with the 9.7** navcores that Pesado & others are finding/reporting only occur in Portugal, Spain & France as I haven't seen them anywhere else (yet?)???
I remember Pesado actually posting that he'd contacted TT & they'd recognised there was a problem & that they were trying to fix it (but obviously haven't sorted it out yet)
Normal mapping errors/omissions etc are always to be expected from TT and others but it does seem that there are some serious problems (in some regions) ever since they brought out these 9.7** navcores.

No , i have seen some streets in Holland and Belgium too where truck restrictions are ignored
I also noticed that its just certain streets / roads , but in most cased it works normally as expected ; restrictions are avoided in general
It also helps when IQ-routes is switched off
After all IQ-routes is nothing more then ordinary sneaky roads / short cuts
I see it this way ;
normal roads are covered 99% , 100% is nearly impossible
For truck restrictions its the same ;
coverage ( whoknows) % , 100% .........
