    Yes, I read that post & I agree they should get a bit tougher with some offences. However, this new speeding legislation is a bit too much as speedos are not that accurate so even the most careful drivers are going to fall foul of this law.

    I think, or at least it had happened to me in the past, the police can be ok with speeders in circumstances, weather, the way you drive and the others on the road. I have no points, but I have been stopped in Austria, Hungary, but that was for tolls, In Germany it was a warning for speeding. In Romania, they were more interested in the car. Last time in UK many years ago it was the car again (how could a Vauxhall beat a BMW M3. At the very least if you do get stopped, be pleasant with them. They are only doing their job. Wish they caurt the none MOT, No Insurance, stolens cars though. So overall, be happy and safe.

    And do not drink or smoke pot and drive. I have NO sympathy if they get stopped or die
    One day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
