It may sound strange, but "it's good to know that I'm not the only one with the problem"
I have been observing this problem for a long time. Nav3 devices always connect quickly and efficiently. I only have one Nav 5 device and I haven't noticed any problems with it. I have a lot of NAV 4 devices and half of them have problems with "busy servers". At the beginning, I was looking for the problem at home, with various computers, Internet connections and even cables. But I realized that the problem is not mine, e.g. the problem occurs on days off from work, and on Monday morning it starts working. I reported the problem to support, but I received the answer that everything was ok. Well, it was actually OK then. Now, for a few days, I have again a problem with two devices that connect "sporadically". A little tip that helps a little: It helps to log in to your account after connecting another device, and then connecting the one with which there is a problem. But not always, because sometimes it asks me to log in again and it fails. A well-charged battery in the device also helps. It may sound strange, but maybe there is a problem in communication when higher currents flow in the cable or in the converter. With a fully charged battery, the problem occurs less frequently.
