I most certainly did and I did not see anything referring to my question which is why I asked, if the option to download to the p.c is included then I would assume that upload to internal memory would also be an option but I have not found it. If the option I asked about is not available fair enough but it doesn't cost anything to ask
to ensure that I have not overlooked anything.

Did you read about using RLink-Explorer ?
You need that tool to have excess to your NAV3 device

OK. thanks for the answer it's much appreciated, I thought that was only for installing to an sd card. I will put my dunces hat on and go back and start over.

Search the forum for RLink-Explorer, but it's quite easy to use.
I don't have the manual by hand now, but sure it is here.
If I've found it on my system, I'll send you a PM.
Goodluck anyway.

Unless I am missing something, which it seems I am likely to do, I have downloaded R-Link Explorer which finds every drive attached to my computer except the nav3 device which is obviously found straight away with TTActivator. My reason for the request is to save me travelling 8 mile to bring a start 20 home and then take it back again as there is no internet access where I want to update a unit. Thanks for the video's but they do not answer the question regarding uploading to internal memory but only to an sd card. Incidentally one of the video's was about the linking rings, I spent 28 years doing the rounds as a magician but after the crash of 2007 it slowly died a death in Wales.
Thanks for all your advice.

I did not know there was anything in between the Chinese rings, also by coincidence, for me certainly more than 50 years ago, but try to pick up something here and there.
The start 20 has an SD slot, right?
And even if it wouldn't have an SD slot, RLink-Explorer should find it just like TTactivator.
I have tested a Start 20 here, but not directly on the Start 20 but directly on the SD card.
That gives me a reason to test it later.
Normally you have to search for the file with the name 0000 and then you go step by step further into your device or SD card.
