Hi. I understand that you have a nav4 device.Map 12211 is a map for NAV3 devices. You cannot upload it to the nav4 device. It has a different file structure.
I haven't used "truck" maps, but I see that there is metacode for map 12208. This is nav4 Europe_HM_TRUCK . It has additional ADR options, but I think it also includes all the standard Truck options. You can try it or wait for someone who uses Map Truck to respond.

Hi.
You have provided too little data for the answer to be 100% correct. Is your "GO 50" a device with serial number "VF...VH...VI...VX...VZ..."? If so, it is a nav4 device. Go to the TOMTOM/ TOMTOM Nav4 tab and you will see guides on how to upload a map and how to patch the device.

I was wondering if I understood the problem correctly, because I see that you are an experienced forum user and you did not use the "search" option before asking the question?
On the Polish "elektroda" forum you would encounter harsh criticism

What kind of TomTom device do you have? Nav3 or higher?
Then you must install MyDrive connect from TomTom first.
Shut it down and than use TTActivator.
