@pirouette1: If you only need a french map, you can update to a 9.510 for 32mb devices like pe1agp and use a Carminat high-level-c-automotive french (current France_1050_10180) In this case you get also the features lane assist, IQ-routes and realview. If you need more countries, the only one for 1 GB is the older low level (arm9-mnt) Europe_Central_1GB_1000_8645. In this case you dont need a NC-update.
