If you wish a NC update for your XXL Classic Series (64 MB), only the NC 9.510 who offered by TT (*). NC 9.540 only for some 4 GB-devices of the XL/XXL, device identifier GV or RZ. I honor your eagerness, but you will not notice any difference after replace the 9.465 with 9.510.
(*) Exception: Your XXL has 4 GB and you want a Truck NC

Hope you can help me, I am no stranger to changing navcores, however it has been a while.
I now have a Tomtom start 25.
To what extend is it possible to change the "start" navcore with a better non-start navcore, and which is the most up-to-date navcore I can install?

Bad news I'm afraid, it can't be done as that device uses MyDrive to connect to TT which we can't crack; as opposed to the older devices that still use TTHome

Thanks, it's a shame, the device has lifetime mapupdates, but still, I just like to play and optimize

Hi,
I've a GO 720 (64 MB) and XL IQ 2GB (64 MB) with a 9.401 navcore. Both have the same latest menu ans same latest prefeferences.
First, I updated the GO 720 (64 MB) to this 9.510, It have the same latest menu and preferences and works like a charm
Encouraged by the GO 720, I updted my XL IQ 2GB (64 MB) to this 9.510, What a disappointment :tb:, it have an oldest menu and preferences, when TomTom Services, and Systeme infos are missed... WEIRD
I'll appreciate yr help zspecially to get TomTom Services displayed
Regards

If you have used the same Navcore without using the skin choicer, both of your devices must have the same menu options in my opinion.
The only thing I can imagine is that the Bootloaders, when they are not the same, act different with this 9.510
Are you sure you've the 64MB version ?

I installed on both XL IQ 2 GB (64MB) and GO 720 (64 MB) the same navcore : GO 9.510 for 64 MB.
Go 720 BootLoaderVersion=55120
XL IQ BootLoaderVersion=55242
Theu are many things weird on XL IQ, no voice sound no services...
I go back to 9.401

Skin chooser
Hello everyone
When i use downunder navcore installer, there wil be a menu item called SKIN CHOOSER.
Now i wonder what this really is. To be honnest i don't have any idea of what this item does.
May be it's a rare question, but i like to know what it is and what it does.
Kind regarts
