What happen with the other one ? I think mine is or was as old as yours, it is one of the first GO910, I thought 7 years old now, without the HDD I test it some days ago the GO910 with SD is running for at least 6 hours
on the old battery. One I bought a CF converter, but in my case it won't run, maybe due of a wrong card I realy don't know. It's still available for free who wanna try it also. I bought the SD slot in England

Sure it's more speedy without using the normal dockstation, but what to think about an extra 12GB and when you want to do a test, for yourself or anybody else, just remove de SD card and use a second one.
You switch from one to another card into a split second, realy convenient, another Navcore ? No problem at all. Not satisfied ? Put the old one easy back.

Yeahh, you are right...in old times I remember I had two navcores in my device. A very good (fast) 8.417 nc and a very nice (slow but 3 pans) 9.054 nc. I switched them based on my needs. These days are away...I have bought my first GO 910 in 2007 in US...was impossible to drive over NYC, D.C. with a map on car seat. This 910 has died 3 years ago. I broke it....so I bought another (used) one.

R.I.P. it's pity, I never throw easy things away, some part could be quite interesting someone else.
Anyway despite the price, I'm still satisfied with the GO910, as well with my Rider v2 with the newest Navore.

Used Tony Zeta's 9.501 SE for first time today: cannot get RDS/TMC to work. Was OK using 9.134 and want to keep the RDS/TMC function
I have a GO910, boot loader 5.5229, Europe 915-5074, RDS/TMC via car mount + antenna and, in the \Config\Setconfig.txt file I have "model:x40" and "fixtmc", on separate lines. It (TZ's) 9.519SE is much faster, more free RAM but I do used the RDS/TMC function. Like the posts above, I like my GO910, had it from 2006 and still going strong.

Did and it don't work. Also tried x50 - get a couple more MB of free RAM (ran clearflash just to see if that would get RDS/TMC working). Will clean contacts in car mount tomorrow and try again.

Still RDS/TMC does not work - in x30, 40 and 50 modes. Should it
I downloaded the GO version from post #1.

    Now tried Tony Zeta's 9.530, in x30, 40 & 50 mode - still don't get the RDS/TMC traffic bar.
Has anyone managed to get TZ's 9.501 SE to work with RDS/TMC? If so, how? I really like the extra speed (18+ MB of free RAM) but miss the RDS/TMC function.
