Thats what i thought. Got a frind with a urban rider for whom i changed the glgps. And the glgps i used had a different size as the one in 9501a.
As i dont have the urban rider at home there was no way of proofing this thought.
Will you upload a 9501 with at least the glgps fixed?
Wont be a problem to do it for myself, just to know if there is a need of saving the glgps or not

NO!
There is no need to replace glgps by default as the new PNDnavigator inside NC 9.501 does the job.
For MiniLog just switch to ttsystem_conv to activate the new glgps.
To be clear (hopefully):
ttsystem_noconv (default) loads old glgps, gltt.
ttsystem_conv loads the new glgps(conv), gltt(conv) + ttconv
*conv is _only_ needed for MiniLog.
I renamed the new gltt and glgps to have both version in the same folder.
glttconv is not really new, but modified to work with ttconv.
athgps and firmware for Atheros are also always old and buggy, but in *conv configuration its .ini is modified to work with ttconv.
As you know there is nothing to do with SiRF. It always shows the right date.
PNDnavigator 9501 doesnt care about wnro. It always uses the right date.
Now you know all the secrets ;-)Last edited by BMWdriver; 22nd July 2019 at 10:02 PM.

Looks like x30/x20 configuration has a problem(x40/x50 works fine) on my go920 with 9541_64MB- making tomtom to restart after menu hangs.

Thats strange. On my Go750 x20/30/40/50 skins are working with 9541c_64MB.zip.
Maybe you need to clean up (remove settings.dat, remove mapsettings.cfg, run ClearFlash utility)??
Did you use a plain sdcard without any remains of older NCs?
Did you copied it onto internal sdcard? Another NC on external?

I formatted internal memory under windows so no leftovers. Unpacked all to internal memory with only one NC.
Will try cleanflash tomorrow and will be back to you. I had like 22mb of ram free when selecting destination.

Very good news.
After not using the Rider v2 for a few days, it started immediately this morning when the ignition was switched on and within a few seconds the place where I stood was indicated.
More than excellent work.
I have faith in this again.

Looks like clear flash is not working for me - just resetting device but i think it should format it? I changed PNDNavigator_GO to PNDNavigator(same with LE) but same(ok i need to chenge other filename as well - will report tomorrow) - whenever i enter menu and change settings and press arrow it hangs and reboots. I reseted tom tom as well still same.
9702A works the way i want it.
UPDATE:that's the way it looks like after few on/off can't reconnect. Quickgps fix valid till 29.07. What could be the reason for that and any chance fixing it(suicide.dat?)
Will put 9541c and test it again.

please help me, i have a tomtom one v3
SE Navcore 9101.516023 fixdate
date is good, suicide.dat is also on it
do I need ito.dat ?? or the ephem folder ??
my setconfig.text is:
Current Emulation: x40 light
Changed Menu
BT: 1
TTS: off
Run in Save RAM Mode
changedtext:TomTom ONE
usesetting
noqfixdel
btoff
fmoff
ttsoff
if I give the tomtom a hard reset
then he changes setconfig.text to:
Current Emulation: x40 light
Changed Menu
BT: 1
TTS: off
Run in Save RAM Mode
changedtext:TomTom ONE
btoff
fmoff
ttsoff
this text is away
noqfixdel, usesetting
and I use noqfixdel, so he doesn't delete the ito.dat
but if he always adjusts the setconfig then it doesn't work
Please help me
thanksLast edited by vulliw; 29th July 2019 at 11:03 AM.
