I have 4 identical tomtom go 520 (4PN50) units with the same problem of constant restarts. The units turn on when connected to PC, displays tomtom logo, then it displays this:

after that TomTom MyDrive starts and briefly shows repairing or retoring device, and after a second the unit reboots and the process starts again... Sometimes it stays on the screen but only when tomtom mydrive isn't running. It seems like the device resets when TomTom MyDrive starts "fixing" the internal memory of the device but it might be just a coincidence. Memory error or broken memory? And the exact same situation on 4 units?



Any idea what could be the cause and is there a way to fix it?

EDIT: I actually fixed one of them. I fiddled with tomtom service tool and some navcore and at one point it flashed something, after that the device turned on. It actually turned out to be a TomTom 7350. I don't know why but anyway, i can't repeat this on the others but i will continue trying
