Does anyone know if the MSTMS team have looked at a patch for the latest GO Expert models ?

I've had many TomToms and felt it was time to get the latest model to use when caravanning because in-car SatNavs as in my 2019 Touareg just don't adequately cater for that. I decided to get the latest GO Truck Expert 6", not appreciating that there was no facility to import personal POI files via MyDrive like on my Rider 410 that I use on my motorcycle. This is a major drawback for me as I have quite a few POI groups that I've created over the years that I use often. I can't understand the thinking at TomTom in omitting this feature on the latest models. Although I like this latest model, if I'd known about this deficiency I would have bought the previous model instead.

Like others, I've complained on the TomTom forum but it appears that TomTom have no interest in adding this feature which is odd because they have incorporated the ability to import routes and individual POIs but not POI groups. It means at the moment I have an ever-increasing list of favourites which is not the most effective way of organising personal POIs.

Congratulations to MSTMS

I know that there are many others who share this frustration.
artful Reviewed by artful on . Congratulations to MSTMS I want to thank those who have made it possible for all of us to see the files inside the nav5 devices, just as they did with nav4 and nav3. Great the MSTMS team !!! I want to thank those colleagues who have donated their devices to be disarmed. I want to thank those who have disassembled their devices for locating the EDL points, conducting the necessary tests, and sharing results. This group of people are people from various countries that gpsurl.com has brought together, so I also want Rating: 5
