We will wait if any user comments or has had a similar situation...
as far as I have tried MDC does nothing against the patch, the most it has done to me is on one occasion it updated navcore and the patch was not compatible, I don't remember if nav4 or nav5....
you say that when it picks up a gps signal it freezes??? Before getting a signal, try to restore the factory.
then check what version of navcore you have put it here
    regards

Potential problems with patching latest Navcore 21.2 and MDC Hello, I have a TomTom Start 42 that i want to patch with MSTMS, but when I attempt to do step 4, the script throws an error "No device connected, please check you have enabled ADB+root and rebooted your device in normal mode !" https://cdn.grue.club/msedge_dbeee_823_333-1642968044.png The device is connected, visible through device manager as an RNDIS device. https://cdn.grue.club/mmc_37927_219_30-1642968317.png Any suggestions? It doesn't work with the factory settings, I've tried everything, I've been doing navigation for 15 years. It cannot enter normal recovery mode. Only with a magic card, but that doesn't work. This was done by the tomtom developers. Two months ago there was no such problem, it is something recently attached to the navigation to the MDC, when it started to insert something like a virus probably. NAV 3 does not have this problem. I currently have four navigations destroyed this way, not fit for use.

Hello Sepiko, I have exactly the same problems as yours. I have some experience with navigation devices, but in this situation I also don’t know what to do. I have tried everything, but nothing worked out. I think that the problem appeared after connecting to MDC. This is a big problem I think, all of us must find a solution for this.
    I wish you good luck!
    Regards!

In my opinion, the only way is to put the device in recovery mode. Then the MDC recovery will reset everything and remove this "virus", but it does not allow you to enter the recovery mode in the standard way. I have been looking for a method for entering recovery mode without the combination with the buttons for a long time.

he has made an MDC software update.
it has updated Go60 Navcore 21.200.
it is working without freezing or reset problems.

I also tried everything I know and also tried everything that has recommended from the moderators in this forum. I tried on different laptops, and combinations with the buttons but the recovery mode does not appaer. When I connect the Tomtom with the laptop there is only the sound of connection.

I removed sd where I have unofficial maps, I did not remove the patch that I had on, I updated the new MDC version and updated navcore, I still had the previous 20, and everything works.

    exclamation aviso Nav4 patch

after several tests it seems that they have made some change against the Nav4 patch.
it seems that the problem is when Navcore 21.2, 21.1 is installed back there was no problems.
    regards

Did you see that there are problems? There is also a problem with truck routes, it doesn't calculate them correctly. Allows you to pass restricted areas for trucks.
