TomTom NAV4 Map installtion problem Tomom Activator 1.6 see my NAV4 Device and I can download Meta & Maps onto it but I'm unable to patch the NAVCORE and the Map does not work. If I then connect to TomTom MyConnet the Map will dispear. I've also tried the upload tool following the instruction to input the map into the uploader which then on selection a dialogue box appears says triggering device but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong? A new video along the lines produced for NAV3 would be useful. Rating: 5

    OK will do, I wasted hours on this. The Site Moderator should amend the Orni guide to state you should use the other method first.

    In Orni´s guide you can read in first place:

    How to download and install NAV4 maps

    Install maps & speedcam
    in nav4

    After you have run your backup. It is very important!!! that you keep your backup copy of your nav4 device safe.

    After having created your magic sd and loaded the MSTMS patch and the meta.txt with the codes of the map that you are going to install, after having followed all the process detailed in the previous MSTMS manual,we can now download and install maps.

    Changes to the start of the Orni guide help solve the problem and/or marking them into Part 1 & 2 would also help. Clearly, whilst lots of hard work has taken place to achieve the NAV4 goal, having two guides is totally confusing. These guides should be coherent and brought into just one so that less skilled thread users can follow them.

    Ciao ho un problema simile, io non riesco a scaricare le mappe in sd pur seguendo tutte le operazioni della guida. quando lancio il bat o l'exe parte l'operaziome ma si conclude subito , immediatamente senza lasciare il tempoi di leggere se ci sono problemi e quali... e non carica nulla. Ho provato anche a fare il file txt per forzare.. nulla ? suggeriementi grazie

    Hi I have a similar problem, I can't download the maps in sd while following all the operations of the guide. when I launch the bat or the exe the operation starts but ends immediately, immediately without leaving the time to read if there are problems and which ones ... and it does not load anything. I also tried to make the txt file to force .. anything? suggestions thanks

    Hi, I think I have the same problem. I have tomtom go 60 updated with navcore 21.200 via MDC. After this I have patched it following the instructions from here

    . However it seems that it's stuck when "Triggering". I have disabled antivirus, tried with different sd cards, different computer and always the same problem. Do you have any idea of a possible solution? Thanks in advance

    but look good and choose Patch for 21.200
