Menu change emulation Nav4Free

Hi spoon1,


I deleted the Europe_HM_TRUCK map and downloaded the Europe_Camper map, and now I have no problem selecting it in the "Maps" menu.


The problem therefore came from the Europe_HM_TRUCK card. It's strange that it appears twice in the meta.txt file!!!


I will now try to modify the emulation to switch to truck mode.

Emulation via option 7 of Nav4Free.bat works perfectly:!

I now have to familiarize myself with the GO 510. I also ordered a Start 52 which I will receive tomorrow. I will try to patch it too.

This is the Europe Camper map, but it can be transformed into a Europe Truck (without hazardous materials however) via the Nav4Free.bat emulation.

I have a question for the Nav4 patch expert: how can I switch from navigation mode to MSTMS mode and vice versa?

I patched my GO 510 to do a test. I then wanted to delete the patch to return to the original configuration. So I used option 6 ("Advanced operations"), then option 5 ("Remove the patch).

My problem is that even after restarting the GPS several times (drum roll) it still gets stuck on the "TomTom" boot screen and doesn't go any further :-(.

Which option should I use to restore the backup I made before installing the patch (option 2: "Create full device "backup")?

I think it's option 2 ("Full device", then "Full device restore") that I need to use, not option 3 ("Restore recovery partition"). I will give it a try.

P.S. It worked, and my GO 510 is back to how it was before I installed the patch!

Hi, to restore the original tomtom backup
first select 6:

Then select 2

again select 2 too

Now program must find your tomtom, so first your tomtom is Not connectd to pc and then you must connect it
choose the right backup to put into your tomtom and let to start ...it take 2 hours to do it

about this:

second my personal opinion this two map (Europe Truck and Europe Camper ) are twin , but different twins, because ... these two maps are almost the same in everything, but if you see well the two Trucks files (trucks.met,trucks.dat) are different in size, this is because the Europe Truck map has more limitations than the Europe Camper map does not have ...the europe truck map has more prohibition signs, has all the prohibitions that do not let you pass into a built-up area, has more weight prohibitions on roads and bridges and more

did it worked fine with patch or not ?
the problem was happened after remove the patch or it was happened using the tomtom with patch ?
