every tomtom Nav3 , Nav4 and Nav5 you can change into Truck or Camper version , using MSTMS patch
on Nav3 you can use TTActivator ... use Europe truck map and navcore patch truck for trasform any Nav3 into a Truck version or use normal navcore patch and Europe Camper map to trasform your tomtom into Camper
about Nav4 and Nav5 they have only one software/navcore and there is the MSTMS patch for Camper or truck version , at the same time tomtom for camper use europe camper map + MSTMS camper patch and europe truck map and MSTMS truck patch for trasform your tomtom into Truck
so with MSTMS patchs now you can modify everyt omtom into a TRUCK or Camper version

I just updated the navcore of my GO 510. The version of the new navcore is 21.200.0003.311 from 09/11/2021.


However, the patch for NAV4 seems to be intended only for the navcore 21.100.0001.311. Can I still use it or is it dangerous for my GO 510?

Hi the patch works also into navcore: 21.200.0003.311 , look about Orni work that she do different emulation for Truck and Camper
best thing if made a backup , it's need long time (some hours) but it's could help you later if you could have same problems

I patched my GO 510 and installed the Europe_HM_Truck map on a 16 GB SD card. It is indeed among the installed maps, but when I select it, in reality it is always the old map that remains active (the one that is in internal memory), and I never see the truck or RV menu options. I explored my GO 510 with Filezilla and WinSCP, which I have already been using for several years for my FTP transfers. It works great with both. I didn't know that I had to go to the "mnt" folder to access the SD card (thanks for this information!!!). I continued my manipulations with WinSCP.

1) There was indeed a *.dct file in the Europe_HM_Truck map: Europe_HM_TRUCK-103306.meta.dct.

2) The Europe_HM_Truck map references in my meta.txt file were different from yours:

N. B. The Europe_HM_Truck map appears twice in the 2 meta.txt files, but with an identical hexadecimal code!

3) I replaced my meta.txt file with yours, deleted the Europe_HM_TRUCK-103306.meta.dct file and rebooted the GO 510. After verification, a new Europe_HM_TRUCK-103306.meta.dct file has been created.

4) It is still impossible to select the Europe_HM_Truck map, it is still the EU_no3D_France_3D map which remains active :-(!!!

I'm going to do a test with a simple Truck Europe map (non HM) or a Camper Europe map (their references are not duplicated in the meta.txt files), and I'll let you know.

4) È ancora impossibile selezionare la mappa Europe_HM_Truck, è ancora la mappa EU_no3D_France_3D che rimane attiva :-(!!!

Farò un test con una semplice mappa Truck Europe (non HM) o una mappa Camper Europe (i loro riferimenti non sono duplicati nei file meta.txt), e ti farò sapere.
