let me put my 2 cent into this dicussion...
for the ones like me who are struggling adding their own icons to the community pois, here is what I did.
- I've patched my nav4 (22.100) using the mstms method (magic card and so on...)
- I've switched on my nav4 (normal power on without magic card or recovery)
- connected to 169.254.255.1:21 using winscp
- then I, like many of you, didn't find any folder named LOCATIONS under /DATA/TTCONTENT/COMMON/ISTALLED/
- so i uploaded my ov2 files using the web app (mydrive.tomtom.com)
- then went into settings/appearance/show list of pois on map..... to show my pois on the map (here I chose one of the default icons)
- then I rebooted the Nav4 (normal boot without magic card)
- then I connected again to 169.254.255.1:21 using winscp
- moved to the folder /data/data/com.tomtom.pnd.navapp/files/pois
- here i found a folder for each poi and inside each folder there is a folder named ov2_icons/ldpi
- here you can drag your own icons and overwrite the default ones and once you reboot you'll get your iconsloSceriffoDelWeb Reviewed by loSceriffoDelWeb on .
