Can't download tomtom truck maps on my internal memory on tomtom start 25?

    Finally the truck map downloaded but no truck option only camper etc.

    I'm glad to know that it works, Thanks to you for commenting results, this can help other users who are sometimes frushed and abandon, not thinking about insisting and reviewing where we are wrong. If you can comment, where do you think the error was, that did not come out of truck, I was missing from the truck patch? At first I did not work map; SD bad?, Badly installed map?, Meta.txt bad?

    Not sure what the problem is tried with 4 different SD cards and probably spent around 7 hours trying and finally worked but not sure why meta.dct dosent come?

    also tried doing another tomtom same model but cant do it so not sure what the problem is as i updated the meta and when putting my map on the sd card the meta.dct dosent come even though i downloaded the map again so not sure whats wrong?

    Every time I refresh my maps on my Go 820 device with a new map version, I have to upload the meta.txt for more than once to my device (5 times or more) before the maps work.

    mu_123 note that before uploading the meta.txt to your device you must open your meta code file to verify that the new map code must be within the text.
    Uploading a text without the map code that you are going to place is like carrying a keychain of hundreds of keys without the right one, it will never open the door.

    The meta.txt opens with any text editor, such as notepad.

    So basically before opening TT activator I have update meta approximately 5 times until I see meta.dct on the meta.txt?
    Is that right cause I tried doing my other TomTom aswell but when I put the map in my SD card the meta.dct file wasn't there so was wondering how I could get it there?

    You can't carry it because the '.dtc' file needs to be generated inside the device.
    TTActivator does not generate '.dtc' for nav3, nav4, nav5, only MSTMS patch generates '.dtc' if MSTMS is installed correctly.

    I installed the map again and had the latest meta and checked it was perfect but when I put it in my SD card the meta.dct has disappeared?
    So how can I resolve that?
