This is an old thread, I hope it still get read.

    I installed R-Link explorer 1.4.1
I have a Via 1535M (via 125) NAV3 with a 16 gb card. The unit is fonctionning well and read the map on the card.
    The card is US_Canada_Mexico.
I placed the card in a card reader.(USB stick card reader)
Windows 7 can read the card and list the files tomtom.000 to tomtom.007, but is unable to open these files.
R-Link does not see the card and list nothing. The bottom status line shows 0 drive. Rs-Link does show the computer side files. Windows 10 same thing.
Any idea what to do from there?

I am reluctant to format the card as the Unit is working fine now. Map is 1085 and I want to install 1100. Unit is not patched yet.

    Thanks

EDIT: Found my own answer from another site: softpedia.com/get/Maps-GPS/R-Link-Explorer.shtml

Did not realized I needed to drag the drive/file from the left side.

Once the storage card is inserted into the computer, users can start exploring its contents by selecting it from the “Local Browser” section on the left side of the application’s dual-pane layout. Here, one can pick which proprietary TomTom files to drag and drop to the “Virtual devices browser” for adding, removing, or copying files over to the target PC for backup purposes.

    Hello!
I had a corrupt sd card with IBERIA MAPS, so i saw a tutorial on some forum to fix corrupted files, so i followed it.
I select the "create new sd car" option on r-link explorer, then i put the sd card on my car, then on my pc, then on my car again, everything works normally except the maps. i cant install the maps on sd card.
I think when i created the new sd card the R-link Explorer changed the CID of the sd card, and the r link wont recognize and wont install the paid maps. what can i do?

Hello! I tried with a 32GB card but RLinkExplorer _1.4.1_mod doesn't see it. With a 16GB card I can transfer maps without problems. I replaced the TTFS file. dll but without any result. A little help if possible. Thank you!

I have no idea what you are doing wrong, but I only use 32GB SDHC cards, never a problem unless I do something wrong myself.

I format the 32GB card in the GPS device and after that I follow the procedure that I also do with a 16Gb card. With the 16Gb I can give OPEN from RLinkExplorer and with the 32GB I can't. I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

to be able to use a (Micro-)SD_card in the size of 32 GB with the R-Link_Explorer, the original file " TTFS.dll " must be exchanged with the patched file. but it must be additionally changed the write permissions of the SD cards.
