    I suggest to post in first post a red warning for TT Live user to check BEFORE to patch the device, if their device is eligible for Lifetime map.
    Check the info on device box.

    And if they have a doubt BEFORE to patch the device call TomTom support to check if device is eligible for lifetime maps.

    In my case I have Start 40 with Lifetime map.
    But originally it didn't downlaod map.
    I call TT support that unlock it and I downloaded the new map.
