    1. Delete your map from internal memory.
    2. Delete the patch from internal memory.
    3. Remove the gps card.
    4. Perform a reset.
    5. Install an official map in your internal memory, even if it is old.

Check that your gps works well ...

    If the gps works well:

    1. Install the truck patch with TTActivator.
    2. Check that your gps works well.
    3. Build a card with R-Link Explorer.
    4. Download the camper map to a folder on your pc, the map must be extracted.
    5. I searched for the map from the left window of R-Link Explorer.
    6. Drag the map from the R-Link Explorer left window to the installed folder in the right window.
    7. If you are going to put radars, install the radars on your map.
    8. Close R-Link Explorer saving the changes.
    9. Safely remove the card from your pc.
    10. Turn on the gps.
    11. Insert the card in to the gps.
    12. Select the map camper of the SD.

Check that your gps works well.

Attention, the maps that the Via installs are of the sayville type, there is a sayville camper map you can install that map and activate it with the equivalent meta of the nav3 camper.
For that you must download both maps.
Copy the Europe_Camper-102479.meta file from the nav3 and paste it into the sayville camper.
Delete the Europe_Camper-102510.meta file from the camper sayville map.

You download the camper with this tool, you will download Europe and Usa

If you don't want to download the USA map edit the batch file (right button => edit with notepad) delete "USA_Canada_Camper," up to the comma.
    Close and save changes

Try removing the cspeech files from the map. We will have to review more things but for now try that.

I have a TomTom Via 130/135 (serial "BO") and have had similar issues with Europe_TRUCK and Europe_Camper maps too. Seems to freeze when I select a city name. I also tried the nav3-sayville Europe_Camper map as suggested by Orni with the equivalent meta with the same outcome.

It seems that it is not an isolated issue.

Yesterday I had the sayville camper running without problems for several hours as a demo.
It's been on all night with no route.
I have created a route and made a demo, while the demo I have restarted the gps with TTActivator and when starting again the gps freezes with the camper map.
I reboot and start with the internal memory map, when I see the internal memory map, I change the map to the camper, now it works fine.

Clearly something is wrong with the MSTMS_Truck or equivalent activation.

Broadly speaking, the map is generally functional if you start the gps from internal memory with a normal map and then switch to the Sd camper map, so there are no problems and it works correctly.
My internal memory map is a map installed by MDC.

OK so I did some more testing with R-Link Explorer.

Test #1. I installed the Europe_Camper v1050.10252 (nav3-sayville) map and replaced the .meta file with the equivalent meta from the nav3 version (Europe_Camper v1050.10213) since we don't have a meta code for the nav3-sayville version. I then deleted these files:
    - asrgrammarinfo.xml
    - language folders (DE, EN, ES, FR, IT, NL, PT)

Result: Selecting town name does not freeze the device.

    Test #2. I installed Europe_TRUCK v1050.10210 (nav3) but deleted all the cspeech_*.dat files.
Result: Didn't work, freezes when I select a town (ie. London).

    Test #3. Installed Europe_Camper v1050.10213 (nav3) and deleted the cspeech_*.dat files.
Result: Didn't work, freezes when I select a town (ie. London).

    Test #4. Installed Europe_TRUCK v1050.10209 (high-level-u-truck) [NAV2].
Result: Selecting town name does not freeze the device.

Very strange results.... Suspecting it could possibly be a memory (RAM) issue.

At least the NAV2 Truck map still works. Haven't tested any routes since I don't live in Europe.

    Test #5: I tried Europe_TRUCK v1050.10210 (nav3) again but deleted:
    - all cspeech_*.dat files [speech recognition models]
    - all adpoints_*.dat files [??]
    - all arp_*.dat files [3D models]

Result: Selecting town name does not freeze the device.

So looks like for certain devices there is not enough memory to handle Europe_TRUCK. Deleting those files fixed the issue for me so it might work for others.

If I have to delete the files as described above, how do I do that if they are installed as TTPKG on the internal memory of the TomTom, I have to delete the files and then they are TTPKG files.

What works for me is the sayville camper map activated with the meta of the sayville europe or the camper nav3, start the gps with a legal map and then change to the sayville camper on the card.

master131 if you want to test routes with europe map, you can make demos using the option "Plan a route" that option allows you to start the route at one point and end at another.
    I suggest the route:
    Start: N42.790273, W1.639604
    Destination: N42.810403, W1.686998
This route, as a truck vehicle 4.5 meters high, must indicate the exit at number 92 of the highway and as a tourist vehicle or less than 4.4 meters it will exit the highway at 89 on the A15 road.
This way you can see if the truck limitations work.
