Can someone enlighten and old bloke what is WinSCP and where does one find it?

Google will be your best friend to find WinSCP, WinSCP will allow you to use ftp download in combination with for example Chrome

Yep, I did google it. I had a play with it, looks complex. At least I now know what it's about.
