Something do note when updating your TT Unit
As most Units are still linked via USB 2 and not USB 3. It is quicker to download via Wifi usually rather than USB because of the port type and size. This is for really old USB units, and USB 2 mini and Micgo, USB 3 withis USB C type is a lot faster, but still not as quick as a fast Wifi, and that depends on you Wifi Speed. Sadly Wifi 5G will not make much difference, as still limits on TT. new TT seems to accept 128GB SDHX cars at last, it you want to go OTT, but Anyway 64GB should be fine for most.
And another thing, it is faster using a localised map in use rather than an overall map. ie UK runs faster than running from EU. also from the Unit rather than the SD card. tried 2 units of same type, and with and without SD cards
Hope that helps all. Plus a new unit of the same type, runs faster too, but not by much. Routing and rerouting is faster on newer unitthe Maverick Reviewed by the Maverick on . Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
